MetroWest Drug Task Force recovers drugs, seizes $34K in cash in bust
FRAMINGHAM A local man is facing drug trafficking and gun-related charges after a yearlong investigation, authorities said.
The MetroWest Drug Task Force arrested Elijah Jacobs, 31, at 6:25 p.m. Friday. The task force is comprised of detectives from Framingham, Natick and Marlborough.
During the investigation, several arrests occurred, authorities said.
“This work is tedious and time-consuming and definitely not glamorous,” Natick police officials said in a statement. “However, as a result of this hard work, we were able to seize over $34,000 in cash which was proceeds from this drug trade and a significant amount of illegal narcotics which find it’s way into our communities and destroys lives.” ....
