In the first week of January, Akshay Kumar, Kriti Sanon and Arshad Warsi among others started shooting for the Sajid Nadiadwala production, Bachchan Pandey, directed by Farhad Samji, in Jaisalmer. The team has been shooting day and night for over a month now at real locations across Jaisalmer and have also shot some action scenes for the film.
