Viz Media brought the anime series
Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet onto home video previously along with distribution through a few streaming platforms over the years. Previously, the series is getting some renewed attention in Japan where a complete Blu-ray box set has been scheduled. Set for a February 25th, 2021 debut, it’ll be priced at 38,00 yen and will have the 13 episode run, the OVA, and the two-part Haruka piece. Extras include the shorts, the retrospective, the clean opening and closing, promos, commercials, and theatrical previews for on-disc extras.
Now, the set has been bumped back a month to a March 26th, 2021 release date and we have our first look at the packaging with the cover design below.
