ST. MARTINVILLE, La. â KATC & Jim Olivierâs Family of Companies hey guys weâre at it again with this weeks Tools For Schools giving to classrooms in need.
Anna Olivier tells us that today they delivered supplies to the Early Learning Center in St. Martinville.
Teacher Katey Huval said she needed new PE equipment.
We applied for Tools for Schools because our PE equipment through the years have gotten broken and lost and of all the years itâs super important for our kids to have physical movement inside and outside, she said.
This has been a totally different school year with the pandemic so we just decided that itâs really time to buckle down and get some new PE equipment have our kids moving and having fun, she said. ....

CROWLEY, La. â Tools for Schools is getting back on the road once again thanks to Jim Olivierâs Family of Companies.
Today we re delivering supplies to Ross Elementary in Crowley, Anna Olivier tells us.
Teacher Marisha Senegal Gonzales asked for headphones for her students.
I requested noise canceling headphones. I applied for Tools for Schools because when my students are trying to do things on the computer where its individualized learning, other computers are very distracting, she explains.
The headphones will help the children focus, she said.
We needed headphones so that we can get everyone focused on their own learning, she said. My students will be so excited for the headphones! Thank you KATC Tools for Schools and the Jim Olivier Family of Companies. ....

KATCâs Tools for Schools and the Jim Olivier Family of Companies is heading out and helping out.
Today, Anna Olivier was at Central Rayne Kindergarten, delivering supplies to pre-K teacher Maggie Futch.
Learning centers are a huge part of our PREK class during center time, Futch explains. Students are allowed to choose different activities to work on that enrich, reteach and enhance learning.
The supplies we re delivering will help keep kids excited about learning, she said.
All of the items that our class receives from Tools for Schools will allow students to apply the skills and strategies that we are learning about in fun and engaging ways, she says. I chose items that will not just benefit my current students but also many students in the future so none of our items that we got from Tools for Schools are consumable items, we can use them for many years ....

Tools for schools going out once again to help our local students.
Today, Anna Olivier with the Jim Olivier Family of Companies was visiting Woodvale Elementary.
Mary Broussard, a teacher at Woodvale, needed help with supplies that kids can t share because of COVID.
What I requested form the Tools for Schools was basically everything thatâs on the supply list times twenty. The reading program that we do is super intense with active reading, collaboration between the kids and right now we cannot do group work like we usually do, Broussard tells us. So every child instead of sharing has to have their own supplies. ....
