With the temperatures in the 90s last week, I would like to remind you to stay hydrated. Please drink many fluids, and wear loose-fitting or light colored clothing. If you do not have air conditioning, try to spend a few hours in a cool place, such as the Mall, the library or here at the Senior Center. We are offering activities, friendship and an all-round place to spend those hot days. Mahjong Mahjong will start again on Mondays beginning on July 19 at 12:45 p.m. here at the senior center. This is a lovely group who have fun and would like to added more individuals who are interested in playing this game. ....

Opinion: Millbury Senior Center news Judy O Connor Staying healthy Staying healthy is very essential. Doctors appointments are very important to make and to keep. We are providing van rides to medical appointments and for general dial-a-ride services. Our transportation services are offered Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. We transport one-town-out in each direction (Auburn, Grafton, Sutton and Worcester.) Currently, the van rides are free, but that will change when the WRTA announces its inception. We are told they will give us a month’s advance notice when fees will begin, again. I would hope that you would take advantage of the free service we are currently providing. All requests must be called in at least 48 hours in advance. ....
