The News Portal on April 19, 2021 published a false story under the headline "Arrest Nana Ama McBrown Now – Former MP Tells Police", a fabricated story that has injured her hard earned reputation. The story among other things seeks to suggest that the former Gender Minister is advocating the arrest of Television personality and Actress, Nana Ama McBrown caught in a video french Kissing her daughter on her Birthday which went viral on social media.
Former Deputy Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection, Rachel Appoh has recounted how she managed to rescue actress and Instagram sensation Akuapem Poloo from imprisonment. Gender describes the circumstances leading to the untimely passing of Little Precious as troubling, and therefore, extends deepest condolences to the bereaved family. The Ministry finds it even disturbing that the reported shooting incident at the Cyber-Ed Christian School, was allegedly instigated by another minor. MGCSP is saddened by the incident, especially as the Government of Liberia, with support from partners, has accelerated efforts to curb and eliminate all forms of violence against children.
