Over the years, he and a niche team of music lovers discussed how they could turn their hobby into a career. After the coronavirus crisis paused live shows, though, musicians found their futures in limbo. With no audience to play for, Guam artists found themselves confronted with what families and friends told them for years — that art, no matter how fun, should never turn into a career. With few savings and temporary jobs to fall back on, some musicians find themselves deciding whether giving up on music is the better choice.
