A probation officer who previously admitted sexually assaulting a woman he supervised while she was in drug court and threatening to send her to jail if she resisted was sentenced Thursday to 10 years in state prison, officials said.
Henry C. Cirignano, 48, of Wall Township, an 18-year veteran of the New Jersey State Probation Department in the Vicinage of Monmouth, pleaded guilty on February 24, 2020 to three counts of second degree sexual assault by coercion, and one count of second degree official misconduct, according to a statement from the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office. ....
