Wednesday, January 27, 2021 - 6:03 am Hermon-DeKalb Central and Morristown Central schools have moved to remote learning due to positive COVID-19 cases in each district. A statement on Facebook from HDCS Superintendent Mark White said: “Today marks the first time this school year where the potential numbers of students and staff that could have been exposed was greater than our ability to cover absences with our current staff. This move to remote for the remainder of the week allows us to verify and contact all who may have been potentially exposed and work out plans for a partial reopening next week. We encourage all students to check their email and follow teachers instructions just like we have been practicing all year. Students should try and keep a regular schedule over the next several days to ensure they complete their work.
