Something in the Wind, a free kite flying event, will take place at the Dangberg Home Ranch Historic Park on Saturday and Sunday, May 15-16 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. On the same weekend, the non-profit Friends of Dangberg Home Ranch is hosting its annual rummage sale, Scatter s Attic, at the park from 8:00 a.m.to 2:00 p.m. Both activities are free to attend.
Something in the Wind features expert kite flyer Cameron Kauffman of CoolKiter.com. Kauffman will demonstrate several models of large and unusual kites, as well as answer questions. The public is also welcome to bring kites to fly, at any time during the day. ....
