Tata Altroz was launched in India in January 2020 with a choice between two engine options: One 85 bhp petrol and one 89 bhp diesel.

Tata Altroz, the home-grown automaker s first premium hatchback, has now managed to register its name in India Book of Records. Tata Motors announced that Altroz entered its name into the India Book of Records for covering 1,603 km in just 24 hours. With this, the Tata Altroz is now the only car in India to have covered this much distance in just one day. The company noted this journey was undertaken by Devjeet Saha, a Pune-based automotive enthusiast. Saha completed the 24-hour round trip from Satara to Bengaluru and back to Pune in his Tata Altroz between 15 December and 16 December, 2020. ....
