The analysts at CLSA also lauded the management s guidance to improve margin and FCF trajectory in India. They have valued the India business at Rs 186/share and JLR at Rs 215/share.

Shares of Tata Motors zoomed more than 6% today, a day after the auto major held an investor day. The management of Tata Motors presented the company s strategy to meet its aspiration of leading the CV industry with a double-digit margin and sustainably improving its position in the PV industry with a high single-digit margin.
The management also highlighted the auto giant s aim to lead the EV disruption and attain zero debt status by FY24. Investment brokerages also cheered the guidance and targets outlined by the top deck of Tata Motors. Global brokerage CLSA, while retaining a Buy call on the stock and a target of Rs 400, upped its FY22-23 EPS by 4% driven by higher volumes. ....

Shares of Indian automotive giant Tata Motors continued their upmove for the eighth consecutive sessions, clocking in a gain of almost 20% in the last two days alone. Jaguar Land Rover’s (JLR) Q3FY21 retail sales came in at 1.28 lac units, down 9% YoY.
One of JLR s key markets, China, showed a marked sequential improvement of nearly 20% and 19% growth in retail sales YoY. Retails in most other regions also continued to recover and were up significantly on a QoQ basis. The volume share of electric vehicles (EV) also increased to 12% in Q3, from 6% in Q2 of this fiscal. ....
