MUMBAI: Marc Llistosella has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Tata Motors. He was most recently the President and CEO of Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation, and Head of Daimler Trucks in Asia. Earlier, Llistosella was the MD and CEO of Daimler India Commercial Vehicles Pvt Ltd.
His appointment at Tata Motors is effective from July 1. Llistosella passionately believes in mobility by data analytics, the importance of electrification and renewable energies. ....

Tata Motors Ltd, India’s largest vehicle maker, on Friday named Marc Llistosella as the managing director and chief executive officer (MD and CEO) of its India business which comprises the commercial and passenger vehicle businesses.
In his last assignment, Llistosella served as president and chief executive of Fuso Truck and Bus Corp., a unit of Germany’s Daimler.

Tata Motors has announced that Marc Llistosella will take over as CEO and MD of Tata Motors Ltd, effective July 1. Llistosella replaces Gunther Butschek who will relinquish his position on June 31 after a five-year stint. The change in leadership came after Butschek expressed a desire to relocate to his home country of Germany at the end of his current contract.
Llistosella has had a long association with Daimler s commercial vehicles division over the course of his career. He was based out of India between 2008 and 2014 as CEO and MD of Daimler Commercial Vehicles India. During this tenure he set up the firm s operations in India, starting from a greenfield organization to a fully-fledged business operation while launching the BharatBenz brand of c ....
