ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. A third person has been charged in the murders of Malik Balderos and Ricky Kinds Jr. at the Waterford Glen Apartments last October, according to the St. Joseph County Prosecutor s Office.
Lance Dawson, 19, has been charged with aiding, inducing or causing murder and conspiracy to commit murder. He is also facing a firearm sentencing enhancement and gang sentencing enhancement.
Dawson was charged on April 7 and arrested April 15 in Bloomington.
Two others were previously charged in this case. ....

SOUTH BEND â Two teens have been charged in connection to an October double fatal shooting at the Waterford Glen Apartments that investigators say is the result of rising gang tensions between the âEast Sideâ and âWest Side.â
Dijon Marcus Davis, 18, and Darius Jamal Vaughn, 19, both of South Bend, were both charged with aiding, inducing or causing murder and conspiracy to commit murder, as well as a criminal gang sentencing enhancement. Davis also received a firearm sentencing enhancement.
Police were dispatched to the Waterford Glen Apartments off Edison Road around 11:45 p.m. on Oct. 22 to reports of shots fired and two men down, according to charging documents. There, they found two men shot, as well as a âgreat deal of ballistic evidenceâ outside the apartments and a large amount of blood evidence inside the apartment building. ....

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. – Two individuals have been arrested in connection with a St. Joseph County Metro Homicide Unity investigation.
Dijon Marcus Davis, 18 of South Bend, was arrested and booked into the St. Joseph County jail today on preliminary suspicion of murder and an outstanding unrelated warrant according to officials.
Darius Jamal Vaughn, 19 of South Bend, was arrested as well and booked into the St. Joseph County Jail today on preliminary suspicion of murder according to officials.
Both were arrested in the connection of a shooting that occurred on October 22, at Waterford Glenn Apartments in South Bend. This shooting resulted in the deaths of Malik Balderos, 21, and Ricky Kinds Jr., 20. ....
