TaupÅ District Council chief executive Gareth Green has announced he is reducing the number of chiefs at the top of the organisation s management structure.
The Taupō District Council is thinning out its senior leadership team and chief executive Gareth Green is also signalling he has secateurs at the ready for the next layer of management. A media release late on Thursday afternoon announced a reduction in the senior leadership team from seven to four with the new roles being “recruited for immediately”. The second step in the process was working with the next layer of management to realign functions, allowing the number of staff in these roles to also be reduced, Green said in the release.
