A PORTABLE WATER TANK IS HERE AT THE HACKETT FIRE DEPARTMENT TO HELP RESIDENTS WHO NEED IT AND TONIGHT FIREFIGHTERS WILL ALSO NEED HELP IF THEY GET CALLED TO A BIG FIRE. The Arkansas Department of Health (ADH) has released the boil order by Donald Sandifer for the Sugarloaf area and Slaytonville areas, including Hackett, that was placed on Feb. 19. The order was issued as a precautionary measure because of the possibility that contaminated water may have entered the distribution system as a result of complete loss in normal system pressure. ....
Mayor fires Hackett police chief Share Updated: 3:25 AM CST Feb 5, 2021 Share Updated: 3:25 AM CST Feb 5, 2021 The Mayor of Hackett fired Police Chief Ricci Pyle Monday.Mayor Trini Harper did not tell 40/29 News why she fired Pyle. When asked, she said no comment and referred us to city attorney Mike Hamby.Harper said a new police chief has not yet been named.
