THE mother and a man charged with the murder of Ipswich baby Dexter Wilton remain in custody as the prosecution case against them is prepared by the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions.
In a callover of serious cases before Ipswich Magistrates Court, the charges against Andrew Campbell, 41, from Bellbowrie, and the baby s mother Natalie Whitehead, 34, from Raceview, received brief mentions on Wednesday in an update on how the cases were proceeding.
Whitehead, and her former boyfriend Campbell, are each charged with the murder of the nine-month-old in Sonter Street, Raceview on June 21, 2019; misconduct with a corpse by interfering; and neglect by failing to provide the necessities of life. ....

An urgent police search has been launched for a man wanted over the death of a nine-month-old baby whose body was found in his mother s home.    
Andrew Campbell, 41, has not come forward to Queensland police despite previous appeals for him to turn himself to authorities over the alleged murder of Ipswich baby Dexter Wilton. 
The nine-month-old was found dead from alleged neglect and mistreatment lasting a period of days in his mother s Sonter Street Raceview home in June last year by paramedics.

POLICE have released a photograph of a man wanted for the alleged murder of nine-month-old Ipswich baby Dexter Wilton.
Andrew Campbell, 41, has not come forward despite numerous appeals from police to turn himself in.
Andrew Campbell is wanted for questioning over the alleged murder of nine-month-old Dexter Wilton.
Dexter was found dead by paramedics in his mother s Raceview home in June 2019.
Police have alleged he died from neglect, with the mistreatment lasting a period of days .
There have been a number of medical tests and pathology reports, we will be alleging that the cause of death was as a result of neglect, Detective Inspector David Briese said previously. ....

A mother has been charged with the murder of her nine-month-old son, while police have called for the woman s partner to come forward to assist in their investigation.

His mother Natalie Whitehead has been charged with murder after his death, which detectives allege was caused by neglect over a period of several days.
