CBSE Class 10, 12 update: Plea in Delhi HC seeks refund of fee of cancelled examination

The petition was filed by Deepa Joseph, an advocate, social activist also the mother of a class 10 student.
She said that the boards are unjustified in keeping the collected amount as exams for classes 10 and 12 have been cancelled.
New Delhi: A Public Interest Litigation (PIL) has been filed in Delhi High Court seeking a refund of the examination fees from the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and other boards to the students registered for classes 10th and 12th board examinations, which were canceled this year in view of COVID-19 pandemic.
A civil writ petition submitted by a lawyer stated that it is unjustified for the board to kwwp the sum collected from students as examination fees for Class 10th and 12th board examinations that have got cancelled. ....

Have you even wondered about the continuous onslaught of unwanted commercial communication (UCC) or spam messages and unwanted calls from telemarketers? If yes, then data shared by the telecom regulator shows that there are over 230,000 entities registered as telemarketers with 11 telecom companies. However, the data shared by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) may be incomplete as the cumulative of Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel itself is nearly 275,000. It may also be possible that many entities have registered themselves with different telcos. But even in that case, the TRAI record considers it as a separate entry and this should have been added in the cumulative.
