Mumbai: The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) Mumbai Unit in three separate operations arrested three alleged drug traffickers, including a woman in city-wide raids on Tuesday and seized a total 73.7 grams Mephedrone (Commercial Quantity), 17 blots (0.32 grams) of LSD (Commercial Quantity) and 10 grams of Charas.
Explaining about the operation, NCB Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede on Wednesday said, an NCB team had conducted house search of one Mohammed Shoaib Haider Khan at his residence at Tandel Street, Dongri and intercepted him with possession of LSD blots. Khan a notorious drug trafficker. He was earlier booked in three NDPS cases in the years 2018 and 2019 by Wadala TT Police station and Gamdevi Police Station and he was currently on bail. A case of assault and causing hurt was also registered against him at Dongri Police station last year 2020, said Wankhede.

Three persons of the gang were arrested under the Narcotic Substances and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.
A police team led by Satya Narayn Chaudhry, additional commissioner of police (south region), and senior inspector Shabana Shaikh on Thursday first arrested an accused Isaq Sayyed (38) and seized 12 grams mephedrone (MD) from Dongri.
A case was registered under the NDPS act.
While working on the case, the police team also arrested Abdu Wasim Shaikh (31), from Vashi, and seized 56 grams MD and other articles.
During their interrogation, police learnt about the involvement of another accused, Deepak Bangera (55), and arrested him from Ghatkopar on Saturday.
During Bangera’s flat search at Sun Flower Apartment in Kalina village, Santacruz, on Sunday, investigators found 25 kg Mephedrone worth Rs 12.5 crore, Rs five lakh, two weighing machines and packing materials of drugs.
