New Delhi: The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has summoned two top officers of the West Bengal government today; however, the top officials are unlikely to visit New Delhi.
On Saturday, Trinamool Congress MP Kalyan Banerjee wrote to Union Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla alleging “political vendetta” as the motive for the summons.
In his letter, Banerjee said that Law and Order subject is within the domain of the state under the 7th schedule of the state list of the Constitution of India. ....
