The Helix Water District is holding its eighth annual Lake Jennings spring photo contest, seeking pictures of the scenic reservoir that were taken now and through the end of May.
Photographs can be color or black and white, of flora and fauna, as well as boating, camping, landscape and scenic views. All images must be digital.There is a limit of three entries per person.
Photographers can get a free day pass for the purpose of taking pictures for the competition by checking in at the Bait & Tackle Shop or campground kiosk at Lake Jennings.
“It’s a fabulous contest and gets people out to Lake Jennings with a free pass to go there and enjoy nature,” Helix Water District Board President Kathleen Hedberg said. “We want to see those National Geographic-quality photos.” ....
