A new report from the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) says its downstream subsidiary, the Petroleum Products Marketing Company (PPMC), generated a total of N1.95 trillion from sales of white products between October 2019 to the same month in 2020.
For October 2020 alone, the Company recorded N158.04 billion representing 92 per cent increase over the N80.15 billion sales in September 2020.
This is contained in the October 2020 edition of the NNPC Monthly Financial and Operations Reports (MFOR).
According to the report, from the total revenue recorded in 13 months, Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) accounted for about 99.07 per cent of the total sales with a value of over ₦1. 9 trillion. ....

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has announced that its downstream subsidiary, the Petroleum Products Marketing Company (PPMC), recorded a total of ₦158.04 billion from the sales of white products in the month of October 2020 representing 92% increase over the ₦80.15 billion sales in September 2020.
A press release by the Group General Manager, Group Public Affairs Division of the Corporation, Dr. Kennie Obateru, stated that the figure is contained in the October 2020 edition of the NNPC Monthly Financial and Operations Reports (MFOR).
The report indicates that total revenues generated from the sales of white products for the period October 2019 to October 2020 stood at ₦1.95 trillion, with Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) accounting for about 99.07% of the total sales with a value of over ₦1. 9 trillion. ....

Nigeria's sales of petroleum products surges by 92%

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, Thursday, said its downstream subsidiary, Petroleum Products Marketing Company, PPMC, recorded a total of N158.04 billion from the sales of white product in the month of October 2020.
This is an increase of 92 percent, when compared to N80.15 billion recorded on the previous month of the same year.
White products include Premium Motor Spirit, PMS, also known as petrol, Dual Purpose Kerosene, DPK, and Automotive Gas Oil, also known as diesel.
According to the corporation’s October 2020 edition Monthly Financial and Operations Reports, MFOR, made available to Vanguard by its group general manager, Group Public Affairs Division Kennie Obateru, a total revenues generated from the sales of white products for the period October 2019 to October 2020 stood at ₦1.95 trillion, with Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) accounting for about 99.07% of the total sales with a value of over ₦1. 9 trillion. ....

Take the Mallam Mele Kyari-led Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, which represents the Federal Government in the Joint Ventures with the International Oil Companies, IOCs, as an example. In the past one and half years, the NNPC, working with other parties succeeded in increasing the nation’s oil production capacity from over 2.0 million barrels per day, mb/d to 3.0 mb/d in April, 2020. The nation has to limit itself to 1.4 mb/d, excluding Condensate as allowed by the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries, OPEC. ....

Delta State Governor Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, has felicitated with Group Managing Director (GMD) of Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Mallam Mele Kyari, on his 56th birthday.
Okowa said in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Olisa Ifeajika, in Asaba, that Kyari was a dedicated professional who had contributed tremendously to the growth of Nigeria’s oil industry.
He remarked that the NNPC chief was an outstanding administrator, whose reforms at the corporation culminated to, among others, the attainment of 1.5 Billion Standard Cubic Feet production per day and its equity production at 1.38 billion cubic feet of gas per day as at November, 2020. ....
