Taiwan donates two vehicles to Saint Lucia

THE Government of Saint Lucia last week received two vehicles from the Taiwan Technical Mission, a gesture towards strengthening the relationship between the two countries.
The vehicles are said to be in great working condition and were donated by the International Cooperation and Development Fund (ICDF) branch of the Taiwan Technical Mission.
The donation came about when on October 2nd 2020, Mr. Barrymore Felicien, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Agriculture wrote to the Head of the Taiwan Technical Mission, Mr. Mario Cheng. Felicien formally requesting the use of vehicle registration number CD 79, consistent with the Ministry’s efforts of improving Saint Lucia’s agricultural sector. Mr. Felicien explained that the vehicle will be used to assist with the implementation of their fruits and vegetable programme. ....
