Falls new top cop pushes training, technology
Falls newest police chief isn t waiting long to take initiative with the department.
Chief Nelson Whitney, a 33-year member of the department, said he has several plans for it following his appointment to the role this month.
“It’s great to be in a position to work hard to make the organization better, he said. “This is the ultimate job to have to do that.
Whitney, who was previously a lieutenant, was appointed acting chief after former Chief William Wilcox retired last fall.
