Newly promoted TNM Super League side, Ekwendeni Hammers, will now be called Azit Hamers  and has changed its goal from simply getting established in the league to competing for the title.

This is coming after the club went into partnership with Agri Zone International Trading (AZIT) Limited, a company that will be bankrolling it for the next five years.
Hammers will be getting over K40 million  a year as agreed in the deal. The team intends to change its name to encompass that of the sponsor but with guidance from the Football Association of Malawi (FAM) and the Super League of Malawi (SULOM). ....
