Version 1.3 Promises a New Seasonal Event, a Free 4-Star, and Xiao Genshin Impact is one incredibly successful game, and that’s just on mobile. It makes perfect sense that miHoYo would release the next update soon to ride that wave of popularity. Even so, it’s awesome to know that version 1.3 is coming out on February 2nd. This expansion will include the Lantern Rite, a New Years’ event held in Liyue; the arrival of the new 5-star character Xiao, the Vigilant Yaksha; and lots and lots of free stuff. Seriously, they’re just giving it away–players will be able to claim 10 free Intertwined Fates through a daily login event and obtain over 1,600 Primogems, plus other cool shinies like the Crown of Insight, by completing other festive events.
