A staff meeting was organised by the Tano North Municipal Assembly for its Heads of Department to update the new Co-ordinating Director to take stock of the activities of staff performance and the way forward for the year.
Addressing the staff, the Co-ordinating Director Mr. Eric Anarfie thanked the Departmental Heads for the prompt response and their performance in the year.
He calls on them to strive hard to achieve more than what was done in the previous year for the Assembly to achieve its targeted goals. ....

“My First Day at School” which marks the reopening of schools academic year saw the Regional Education Director for Ahafo Region Madam Lucy Ama Ankrah, officials of the Tano North Municipal Assembly, and the Municipal Directorate of the Ghana Education Service visiting public schools in the Municipal to mark the day.
Interacting with the students, the Ahafo Regional Director of Ghana Education Service, Madam Lucy Ama Ankrah welcomed the students especially those entering school for the first time and urged them to study hard to become responsible adults and sound a word of caution to parents that, though the President would provide nose masks and hand sanitizers to the pupils, they should also provide some for their wards and advised them to wear it always. ....

3rd ordinary general meeting held in Tano North Municipality

The third ordinary general meeting held at Duayaw Nkwanta in the Tano North Municipal Assembly Hall.
Addressing the house the Municipal Chief Executive Hon. Ernest Kwarteng made it emphatically declared that the advent of the Covid -19 pandemic has brought a lot of devastating effects which has slowed down some developmental projects in the Municipal.
He disclosed the Tano North Municipality recorded seventy-three (73) positive cases of the virus out of which four persons died.
He said the Assembly partly committed resources to curb the spread of the covid -19 and therefore appealed to the general public to observe the safety protocol. ....
