As students return to learning after the holiday season, the Masconomet and Tri-Town School Union districts have mostly remained in a hybrid model of teaching. Looking back on the school year, both superintendents say they are pleased with how teachers and students have risen to the COVID pandemic challenges, but they also know more changes are probably just ahead. 
Masconomet Superintendent Dr. Michael Harvey said it’s been an overall challenging school year for the district, noting that teachers and students were never trained in virtual schooling.
“I think the staff has done an incredible job in a very short amount of time, you know, putting together a really great program for students,” said Harvey. “But it’s a lot of work. I want to acknowledge it’s really hard.” ....
