It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Karl Heinz Lang, on January 18, 2021, in his 82nd year. Karl was born in Breisach, Germany on May 28, 1938. In July of 1958, at age 20, Karl immigrated to Canada, landing first in Montreal, QUE. From there, he traveled by rail and bus to Thunder Bay where he decided to find work and make a home. In 1963, he married, Leona Pawlik.
Karl owned and operated a successful roofing company, Strasser and Lang Roofing Contractors, with pride and passion for over 50 years. In his leisure time, Karl also enjoyed a variety of outdoor activities, such as hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, and relaxing at his camp at Shebandowan Lake. ....
