Fashion Street, one of the most famous markets in the city, located near East Street, might soon be history a tiff between the hawkers and
Pune Cantonment Board (PCB) has reached the
Civil Court.
PCB has plans to vacate the space on which the hawkers are currently running their businesses and want to come up with an alternative plan on the same plot, razing one of the oldest fast clothing markets in the city. After the major fire that broke out here in March this year, the authorities wanted the hawkers to move out of the space permanently. ....
