West Lafayette chapel dedicated as flags places at veterans' graves

On a day when a new chapel was unveiled at the 52-acre Tippecanoe Memory Gardens, high school students marked Memorial Day by placing flags at veterans graves.
The chapel in West Lafayette was celebrated in a short ribbon-cutting ceremony Thursday afternoon.
The new chapel features a lobby, chapel and kitchen all within the Memory Gardens.
West Lafayette Mayor John Dennis, State Sen. Ron Alting, State Rep. Sheila Klinker, West Lafayette City Clerk Sana Booker and Tippecanoe County Commissioners Tracy Brown and David Byers were on hand for the ceremony. Cemetery owner David Shipper and Mitch Bennett, general manager, also participated. ....
