CRPF Mulling Drafting Women Personnel In CoBRA Commando Battalions
The Central Reserve Police Force has had women personnel in combat since 1986 when its first Mahila battalion was raised. It has six such units at present.

The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) is deliberating over inducting women officers in its jungle warfare commanded force CoBRA, chief A P Maheshwari said on Thursday. 
Under CRPF, 10 Commando Battalion for Resolution Action (CoBRA) were raised in 2009. Comprising of over 12,000 personnel, the specialised force was tasked with undertaking intelligence-based jungle warfare operations. ....
