Forest Department officials in the state have been put on high alert after several states in the country reported an outbreak of bird flu. While no cases have been reported yet in
Karnataka, the government said that they were taking all precautionary measures.
Vanashree Vipin Singh, Chief Conservator of Forests and Executive Director of Bannerghatta Biological Park, said: “We have always followed protocols related to an outbreak strictly, but now, we are being even more careful. As of now, the situation is under control.” ....
