DP World has entered into a wide-range of partnerships to support the global distribution of Covid-19 vaccines and related immunisation supplies. The Dubai-based firm recently tied up with UNICEF to procure and supply 2 billion doses of Covid-19 vaccines and auxiliary vaccination supplies on behalf of the COVAX Facility. Here’s a look at how the company distributes the vaccines.

The UAE has put in place a comprehensive plan for the transportation and movement of the COVID-19 vaccine.
The UAE’s relentless war against the coronavirus is commendable. Dubai is making herculean efforts to stem the spread of the virus. As part of its intensified testing campaign, MoHAP announced 2,948 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total number of recorded cases in the UAE to 303,609.
It has also kept the death toll low. It announced 12 deaths due to COVID-19 complications, bringing the total number of deaths in the country to 850.
The Dubai Police General Command is encouraging all members of the community to report any violations of COVID-19 precautionary measures through Dubai Police’s Call Centre (901) or via the ‘Police Eye’ service.
