Transport Minister Michael Wood has hinted that heavyweight trucks may only be able to cross Auckland s ageing Harbour Bridge at restricted times of day.

Transport Minister Michael Wood says the Government remains committed to the SkyPath despite Waka Kotahi saying no further weight should be added to the bridge for structural safety reasons.
It comes as Waka Kotahi says the bridge can t be strengthened any further due to the weight of the steel that would need to be added, and instead active traffic management would be needed in the future to manage the load on the bridge. ....

Harbor, which is led by Dan Kessler, said it has launched a new, paid premium subscription service called
Harbor Premium. The new service is being launched in a partnership with ADT, and connects users to ADT s monitoring team. According to Harbor, the partnership allows ADT to contact the user, alert authorities, and share their location, as well as other user-provided, personally identifiable information to help emergency responders locate and identify them. Financial details of the partnership were not announced. Harbor provides personalized risk management tools and provides guidance to its users, step-by-step, on improving their disaster preparedness. The new Harbor Premium service revolved around HarborHELP , a SOS button in the app which immediately contacts ADT. Harbor Freight Tools has announced that it will be opening a new store in Mineral Wells at 194 Garrett Morris Parkway. The location is expected to open this spring, with a grand opening date announced at a later date.Â
Construction has already begun at the location, using local workers and companies from the surrounding Mineral Wells area, according to a press release.
In addition, the store is expected to bring between 25 and 30 new jobs to the community, including sales and logistic supervisors, senior associates, sales associates and seasonal opportunities as well.Â
