Tumakuru police’s
service of installing a LHMS camera at houses to keep it safe from burglars is proving to be a big hit
The Tumakuru district police along with Tumkur Smart City Limited have started a novel initiative and service for deterrence of
house break-in by engaging a system called Locked House Monitoring System (LHMS). Needless to say, the offer is highly appreciated as most vacationers want to leave home in peace.
This system was started as a pilot project around eight months ago since the lockdown was relaxed and people started to go out for vacations and for festivals leaving their houses locked. So far, there have been around 400 requests from the members of the general public informing the police that they are going out of station, requesting the LHMS cameras to be installed at ....
