The Patriot Ledger MARSHFIELD – The decision to bring midway games, carnival rides, farm animals and giant produce back to the Marshfield Fairgrounds this year will be made by June 1, organizers said. In a recent email to exhibitors, Marshfield Fair Director of Administrative Services Janet Scribner said directors are gathering as much information as they can and will have a decision made by the end of May. Her email asks exhibitors to let her know if they would come back for the event from Aug. 20-29. One of the many concerns is our exhibits/exhibitors, since they are a very large part of the fair, the email states. I have been asked to reach out to you all and see how many of you would be willing to enter any of our contests throughout the fair (arts and crafts, photography, gift shop, quilting, agriculture, horticulture, animals, etc.) IF the fair were to open this year. ....
