Telangana: Employee Of Govt Controlled Vemulawada Temple Siphons Off Rs 40 Lakh Temple Funds, Suspended

After reports on misuse of temple funds at Sri Rajarajeshwara Swamy temple in Telangana’s Vemulawada have surfaced, authorities have suspended the involved employee, Venkatesh, who siphoned off Rs 40 lakh that belongs to the temple.
The employee from the sales department of the temple under government control has misguided the authorities by submitting wrong statistics of laddu sales involving sale of two lakh laddus worth Rs 40 lakh.

Telangana Today that though irregularities came to light, the laddu production department officials did not inform the higher officials as the employee involved in fraud had repaid the amount when he was questioned about the irregularities. ....
