Selection heroic freedom fighters will start on Jan 9

DHAKA, Dec 13, 2020 (BSS) – As per the decision of the 71st meeting of the National Freedom Fighters Council, only the freedom fighters with civilian gazette without the approval of the council will be screened on January 9, 2021 instead of December 19.
If the name of a heroic freedom fighter is included in the Indian list or the Red Muktibarta or 33 types of evidence recognized by the Ministry, those will be out of the scope of verification and selection, said a press release.
If the name of any such heroic freedom fighter is mistakenly published in the verifiable list on the website of the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs or the council, it is requested to contact the concerned Upazila Nirbahi Officer’s Office or Deputy Commissioner’s Office with suitable evidence to remove the name from the list. ....
