ISLAMABAD (APP) - National Tourism Coordination Board (NTCB) Chairman Sayed Zulfikar Abbas Bukhari Saturday regretted closure of Malam Jabba ski resort during the peak of tourism season.
In a tweet, he said it would disrupt plans of many tourists, who had planned to visit the one of best travel destination of the country just before the holy month of Ramazan.
“Unfortunate to see one of our best resorts close down at the peak of tourism season. This upsets many people’s plans just days away from Ramazan.. ....

ISLAMABAD: While the three-day Islamabad Tourism Festival (ITF21) has been a fun family event which saw an eruption of music and adventure sports in the capital, recreational activities like horse dancing, tent pegging and remote-controlled flying marked the last day of the event.
Activities like paragliding, vintage car shows, live music, food festivals, accuracy landing and wingsuit flying were regular features on all three days of the festival that started on March 5 and continued till March 7. ....

Islamabad : Speaking at a webinar on ‘mountaineering challenges confronting Pakistan,’ the experts urged the government to urgently establish a professional mountaineering school and a strong Alpine Club of Pakistan (ACP) having right professionals on board.
The experts also appreciated the Pakistan army for conducting the rescue operations quite efficiently when needed. They highlighted that getting a mountaineering permit takes too long despite the Prime Minister’s instruction to reduce the processing time. It takes too much time to get a visa for the foreign tourists though the federal government has announced a lenient visa policy. ....

Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Ali Muhammad Khan on Thursday suggested that the top YouTubers of the country should be engaged to promote tourism instead of inviting vloggers from abroad to tell the world what Pakistan has to offer.
 
The state minister said that the YouTubers were already promoting the country as well as earning handsome amount from YouTube – the online video-sharing platform – and they should be utilised for the promotion of tourism in the country and abroad. ....
