MINSK, 30 April (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has appointed a number of high-ranking officials in the National State Television and Radio Company, BelTA has learned.
Sergei Gusachenko was appointed to the vacant position of the first deputy chairman of the National State Television and Radio Company. He previously worked as a deputy chairman of the company.
Dmitry Primshits was appointed Deputy Chairman of the National State Television and Radio Company. This position was previously occupied by Olga Kononyuk. Up till now Dmitry Primshits has been working as a deputy director for science and innovations of the Economics Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. ....

As part of the regular procedure for all songs submitted to compete in the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC), the EBU [European Broadcasting Union] has carefully scrutinized the Belarusian song Ya Nauchu Tebya (I ll Teach You) by Galasy ZMesta to ensure it complies with the rules of the competition.
