It seems like every week we get news of an album from a member of the National, and this week it s Bryce Dessner s turn. The guitarist has written a new album with the Australian String Quartet, and you can hear two songs from it now.
Impermanence/Disintegration was composed for the Sydney Dance Company, who will perform the piece at Sydney s Roslyn Packer Theatre Walsh Bay before taking it to the Adelaide Festival in March.
The album includes eight new compositions, as well as a string arrangement of ANOHNI s Another World, which closes out the release. ....
