Some say cheap must buy, free must take. But not today.
If you ve recently come across a photograph of a banner with Temasek Foundation s logo, offering 50 medical masks and 25 N95 masks with every SP bill, and showing Aug 4 as the date for collection, don t be too hasty to head out of your home.
This morning, Temasek Foundation clarified in a Facebook post that there isn t a free mask distribution today (Aug 4).

They said: There isn t one today, but we re conducting operational trials for the distribution of medical and N95 masks. This will start in late August or early September. ....

Some residents discarded the leaflets they had received in the mail by mistake.

SINGAPORE - Some residents have taken to social media to appeal for replacement leaflets from Temasek Foundation to redeem the free oximeter it is distributing, after discarding the one they had received in the mail.
They said they had thrown theirs out by mistake, and missed the instructions which say it must be used to claim the digital device that measures blood oxygen levels.
Writing on Temasek Foundation s Facebook page, one Idy Chew said: I accidentally threw away the leaflet thinking it s just info for us to collect without reading the red label at the bottom to keep it for redemption. ....

Free hand sanitiser for all S'pore households, collection starts April 12

In a Facebook post dated March 30, Temasek Foundation announced that the free distribution would run from April 12 to April 25, via vending machines across multiple locations in Singapore.
Where to collect
According to a press release by Temasek Foundation, the vending machines can be located at 108 community centres/clubs (CCs), and at Temasek Shophouse at Orchard Road.
Other than vending machines at six CCs which run from 10am-10pm, those at all other CCs will operate 24/7. The six CCs are Bukit Merah, Joo Chiat, Katong, Siglap South, Toa Payoh East and Toa Payoh South.
You can locate the nearest vending machine to you using your postal code, via the stayprepared.sg/byobclean website. ....
