KU postpones all offline exams till May 15, all hostels to remain closed
SRINAGAR: The University of Kashmir Wednesday decided to postpone all its offline examinations, including UG and PG examinations, till May 15, 2021 in view of the ongoing pandemic situation. The varsity also decided to close its hostels till May 15, 2021 in the interest of safety of the hostel boarders.
The decisions were taken pursuant to a meeting of the varsity’s advisory committee which was convened to deliberate upon the conduct of examinations and the recent directions/orders from the government of J&K in the matter.

SRINAGAR: The University of Kashmir has postponed all its offline PG and UG examinations till May 2, 2021 in view of the prevailing circumstances, even as it decided that the main campus shall continue to remain closed upto and including Wednesday (April 28, 2021).
The decisions to this effect were taken after detailed deliberations over the prevailing circumstances at a high-level meeting of the varsity’s advisory committee, chaired in online mode by Prof Neelofar Khan.
The meeting however decided that online classes, as already notified, shall continue to be held by the teaching departments. ....

KU Main Campus To Remain Closed For 2 Days, All Examinations Postponed
SRINAGAR: Kashmir University’s Main Campus will remain closed for two days (April 23 and April 24, 2021) in view of some Covid positive cases being reported amongst employees from various units of the University.
However, essential services staff of the university health center, sanitation, landscape wing, construction division, proctorial wing etc shall continue to perform their duties with full strength.
Registrar Dr Nisar Ahmad Mir said that employees experiencing symptoms of Coronavirus are advised to get themselves screened for Covid19.
Meanwhile, all the university examinations scheduled on 23-04-2021 (Friday) and 24-04-2021 (Saturday) are hereby postponed. ....
