Green Africa introduces its first two aircraft

Green Africa, via its official Facebook and Twitter accounts, introduced (08-Apr-2021) its first two
ATR 72-600 aircraft (5N-GAA and 5N-GAE). Founder and CEO Babawande Afolabi stated the airline plans to deploy up to 15 ATR 72-600s by Dec-2022. The carrier will initially operate from Lagos and plans to open two or three additional bases in
Nigeria over the next 18 months.

HiSky receives first A319

HiSky took delivery of one A319-100 aircraft on operating lease from
Air Lease Corporation, effective 22-Dec-2020, according to the CAPA Fleet Database. The aircraft is the first to be added to the start-up s fleet. As previously reported by CAPA, the company received an AOC from the Romanian Civil Aviation Authority in mid Dec-2020, however a revised launch date has not yet been communicated.
