The first season adapted multiple short stories from the first 3 volumes, however it was not in chronological order. Considering only the first 3 volumes, there are 60 chapters, 4 prologues and 3 bonus chapters, of them only 24 were animated ( 2 per episodes ) so in fact they don t even need to adapt volumes 4&5. Huh interesting, so their is no real overall plot just a series of random short stories spread about throughout the volumes so they can be adapted entirely as how they wanted it to be. ....
