David Morgan A BOLTON businessman and social justice advocate has been awarded a grant to help prison leavers find a way into self-employment amid the pandemic. David Morgan’s launched Entrepreneurs Unlocked CIC in 2019 and the organisation gives offenders in custody and the community the chance to develop their entrepreneurial talent and to give them a crime-free future. And the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust (WCMT), has now awarded the CIC a Covid-19 Action Fund grant, from a scheme set up to combat the effects of the pandemic. Money from the fund will be used to set up a “digital support community” for people released from prison and help them find self-employed work.
