A gunshot victim was being treated Thursday at UPMC Williamsport following a shooting inside a home in the 1500 block of Louisa Street in the city at about 9:10 p.m., according to reports from the scene.
The gunman, who was still being sought, kicked in a door and shot the victim, city police were told.
The victim, a juvenile male, reportedly suffered a gunshot wound to the upper thigh to which emergency personnel applied a tourniquet in order to stop the bleeding, according to reports.
Using a K-9, officers were trying to pick up the trail of the suspect. The search was terminated on nearby Mount Carmel Street. ....
