Akatsi South: Two months old baby dumped in an uncompleted building at Akatsi

A two-month-old baby boy has been found alive in an uncompleted building by residents of Avetite, a suburb of Akatsi in the Akatsi South Municipality of the Volta region on Wednesday, April 7.
Mr Victus Kportufe, the Assemblymember of Akatsi-Anyiheme in interaction with
ModernGhana News said he received a call from residents of Avetite at around 9pm about the incident.
According to him, the baby is suspected to have been dumped by his mother who is currently at large.
He said members of the community were shocked since nothing of that nature has ever happened in the area.
Mr Kportufe further explained that the matter has been reported to the Akatsi South Police command and the Municipal Social Welfare Department for immediate action. ....
