NHAI Contractor Patel Infra Creates World Record In Laying Road Paving Concrete For Delhi-Mumbai Expressway

A National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) contractor has created a world record on Monday (01 February) for laying Pavement Quality Concrete (PQC) for a four-lane highway of 2,580 meters length within 24 hours, the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways said in a statement.
The record is part of the greenfield Delhi-Vadodara-Mumbai 8-lane Expressway project, and was carried out by the worldâs largest fully automatic ultra-modern concrete paver machine.
Starting at 8 o clock in the morning on 1st February 2021, they finished the job of laying approximately 10.32 thousand lane meters by 8 am next day. ....

Patel Infrastructure creates world record for laying pavement quality concrete

New Delhi [India], February 3 (ANI): Engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractor, Patel Infrastructure Limited has created a Concreting the History - World Record for laying of Pavement Quality Concrete (PQC) in 2580m length in 4 lane width (18.75m) - 10.32 Lane km within 24 hours, said the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) on Wednesday.
According to NHAI, the achievement has been recorded in the India Book of Records and the Golden Book of World Records. The work of laying of PQC started on February 1 at 8:00 am and ended on February 2 at 8: am. ....
